Happy New Year

Welcome to 2012!!


I took some time off from the blog. I know I had just begun to post but there was an overwhelming amount of personal issues that took too much time to really get away and post anything. I had a few things set to post automatically. This is the first time I've been able to really sit down and type out something for this blog.

I have been doing some thinking about my life and what I want to do with it as of late. Maybe it's the fact that we've entered a new year. Maybe it's because I'm reaching my middle age years. Whatever the reason, I have had to make some painful decisions and try to find my way along this bumpy path of life. Still, I'm here. I've made it to another year.

I'm looking forward to this year. I've not made the usual list of resolutions. Instead, I am determined on being positive, making positive choices and being as loving as I possibly can. This doesn't mean I am going to be an open door for everyone. I'm not that naive or gullible any longer.

Many thanks to all those who have been a great source of support and love these past few months. I wish everyone a new year filled with lots of love, good times, great memories and fun-filled surprises. Let's look past the dark times and reach for the wonders that life can have for us all.
